Recording Options

Record Online at Time Code (or ADAT)

Lock When selected, online recording begins as

soon as Pro Tools receives and locks to incoming

time code.

Record Online at Insertion/Selection When se-

lected, online recording begins at the edit cursor

location. Recording continues until Pro Tools

stops receiving time code. If you make a selec-

tion, Pro Tools records online for the length of

the selection.

To set Serial Deck Control mode recording

options:

1 Choose Setup > Preferences, and click the

Operation tab.

2 Select or set the above Online options in the

Record section.

3 Click OK to close the Preferences dialog.
